ASA Microfinance Uganda Ltd (“ASA Uganda”) is a Tier IV, non-deposit-taking MFI operating a large group-lending platform nationwide. As of June 2025, it served roughly 178,000 women borrowers through 133 branches, with about 60% of clients in rural areas.

Spark+ financing will support loan book growth including a staged rollout that targets 20,000 households over two years across LPG stoves, charcoal efficient stoves, and biodigesters, beginning with a 4-month pilot in 2–3 branches.
